Diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease at Birth
Rae was diagnosed at birth with CHD and has gone through several heart surgeries in her 8 years.
4 months at Galisano's Childrens' Hospital (ROC)
This March she went through the last Fontan surgery and has been at Rochester's Galisano's hospital for almost 4 months. (She did get to go home a few times, but ended up back in the hospital).
NOW: Hopeful Trip to Philadelphia
Since her surgery, ROC has exhausted their options to help Rae. She now needs the specialized imaging equipment at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to identify and fix her fluid leak.
